This warranty policy applies to Terrapin Outdoor Solutions brand products only. 3rd Party 'Companion' products sold on our website are covered by there own respective manufacturers warranties separately.
NORTH AMERICA (USA & CANADA) CONSUMER WARRANTY INFORMATIONThe following limited warranty applies to purchases made within North America (USA and Canada).
Warranty claims for purchases made outside of North America (USA and Canada) must be directed to the retailer, dealer or distributor of purchase.
If a product was purchased in North America (USA and Canada), but the claim is being made from a location outside of North America (USA and Canada), the claimant is responsible for all shipping charges (both outbound and inbound charges). See FREIGHT section for details.
Section 1: WARRANTY
To qualify for any Terrapin Outdoor Solutions (TOS) product warranty, products must have a serial number.
The warranty applies to Terrapin (TOS) branded products only
TOS: One Year Limited Warranty
TOS products are solely intended for use as advertised and instructed on the Terrapin Outdoor Solutions website.
The TOS limited warranty is in lieu of all other expressed warranties, obligations or liabilities. The duration of any warranty is implied by state law, including, but not limited to the implied warranty period, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to one year from the date of original purchase. Some states and countries do not allow limitations on length of implied warranties, so above limitation may not apply to all consumers. This gives the consumer specific legal rights, depending on state or country of residence.
The TOS limited warranty DOES NOT cover the following:>Normal wear & tear during the life of a product
>Natural breakdown of colors and materials during the life of a product
>Improper use or care including, but not limited to, abuse, alterations, disassembly and/or indirect moisture damage
>Damage due to Improper installation or handling, such as but not limited to, incorrect mounting of enclosures, failure to use grommets or cables gland properly for wiring ingress, damage to power cords.
>Damage due to Improper installation of 3rd party devices that cause damage to enclosure parts
>3rd Party Devices mounted inside of enclosures
Section 2: RETURNING DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS>Defective merchandise requires a Return Authorization (RA), provided by TOS. RA’s can be requested via our website contact form.
>Defective shipments must have the provided RA information marked clearly on the outside of the shipment.
>A replacement, repair or refund (at TOS discretion) may be obtained by returning the defective product to TOS with accompanying letter of explanation and proof of purchase.
>A return address will be provided at time of RA approval.
Section 3: FREIGHTA. Any product returned to TOS for any reason must be shipped using pre-paid and trackable freight.
B. Repaired or replacement products will be shipped by TOS using ground delivery service at TOS cost.
C. If US-purchased product is being returned from an international or US territory location, the product must be shipped using pre-paid and trackable freight along with a pre-paid return-service shipping label. If a pre-paid return-service shipping label is not available, please provide the following information in your claim letter:
A valid VISA® or MasterCard® credit card number
Credit card expiration date
Name as it appears on credit card
